1. Introduction

SilverMind ("we," "our," or "us") operates the SilverMind app for iPhone, iPad and Android, the browser version at silvermind.app/play (together, the "App") and the website silvermind.app. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can ask us to delete it.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Onboarding preferences: age bracket, cognitive goals, focus areas, and reminder time preferences. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Subscription information: if you subscribe to SilverMind Premium, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store), Google (Google Play) or, in the browser version, Stripe. We do not collect or store your card details. For a browser subscription we keep the email address you give Stripe, so we can restore your purchase on another device.
Email sign-up: if you enter your email on the website to receive new exercises and printable puzzles, we store that address to send them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Information Collected Automatically

Game progress data: scores, streaks, and game history are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.
Subscription status: we use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
Anonymous usage analytics: we use a self-hosted analytics tool (Umami, on our own server) to count anonymous events such as games played, screens opened and purchase steps. Each event carries a random install identifier generated on your device, the app version, your language, the device type and the country derived from the connection. It does not contain your name, email, contacts, precise location or advertising ID. We do not use advertising, do not track you across other apps or websites, and do not sell or share this data.
Website: the website uses the same self-hosted analytics, without cookies, to count page views and clicks.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the App
To personalize your brain training experience
To manage your subscription and entitlements
To send daily reminder notifications (if enabled by you)
To improve and optimize the App

4. Data Storage and Security

Your preferences, game progress and settings are stored locally on your device. On our own server we keep only the anonymous analytics described above and, if you gave them to us, your email address for the email sign-up or a browser subscription. Data is encrypted in transit. Subscription management is handled by Apple, Google, Stripe and RevenueCat with industry-standard security measures.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

RevenueCat: subscription management and in-app purchase processing
Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Stripe: payment processing and app distribution
Expo: app framework and notification delivery
Umami (self-hosted on our server): anonymous usage analytics

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data: all your data is stored locally on your device and accessible through the App.
Delete your data: you can reset all progress and preferences from the Settings screen in the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data. To delete the analytics tied to your install identifier, or your email address, write to support@silvermind.app and we will delete it within 30 days.
Manage notifications: you can enable or disable reminder notifications at any time in the App or in your device settings.
Cancel your subscription: you can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings.

7. Children's Privacy

SilverMind is designed for adults and is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
